THE ESTATE'S TREASURER'S REPORT (This
Years 2007)
May I firstly thank all residents
who have co-operated with me and increased our membership from last
year – not a lot – but still an increase, which is encouraging.
There are still many Standing Orders which
are not being paid on time and few which are not being paid at all!
This involves a lot of extra time, letter writing and telephone
calls which are unnecessary, therefore it would be much appreciated
if members would kindly check their bank statements in January and
ensure their subscriptions have been paid on time i.e. on 2 January.
For some inexplicable reason we are receiving payment s at various
times of the year, SO PLEASE DO CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR STANDING ORDER
HAS BEEN PAID ON TIME and save myself and the committee unnecessary
additional work.
Our current projects are litter and ‘doggie
mess’ bins which will be installed shortly, and major tree
surgery which will involve approx £3000 in expenditure. These
expenses will diminish our funds greatly, so please support us by
joining the CPEA and help to fund further vital projects. Remember,
it is only £75 per year – less than £2 per week
– to look after our Estate, which in these times is excellent
value for money, so please support us in our voluntary work.
May I wish you all a good summer.
Madan Alhuwalia , Treasurer
